I'm Back...sorta

So the update goes like this. We have sold the ranch and are now homeless. We're looking for a new place here in Texas. We're looking for 10 acres with a house and a barn and a shop. And guess what? A lot of stuff we don't like.

So now we're talking about building. Which means finding a parcel of land, getting the dozer guy in, getting the fence guy in, getting the bardominium guy in, getting the house builder in. It's going to take a while.

Also considering New Mexico. We driving out there next week to look at some places.

What I want is always what Susan wants. So I'll just speak for myself.

I want a small place with very little work. As y'all know I have a novel coming out, OJ's Knife. Please do order it now from this site.

I have some more I want to write and I don't want to spend my few remaining years on a mower.

Susan wants to ride her horse.

Therefore we're looking for something big enough yet small enough.

I'm still doing author interviews, which I will post here.

That's it for now. More later.

Stay tuned.

I loved your show!

we got caught in the same dilemma as you. At 77 I realized the need to downsize and moved from an 8000 sq foot house on 250 acres of woods to a smaller house on 7 acres. It killed us mentally to do it but it is for the best. I am adjusting but still miss the place. Glad to hear you are still moving forward no matter where you land. I will order your book today after all, you sort of made your bones covering OJ as well as many other life achievements.

I sure miss your show - it's just not the same anymore; but the world - it just keeps a changing.

John Gibson - Thanks for the podcasts that were rooted in common sense, enjoyable to listen to and provided hours of challenging thought and entertainment when I needed it the most a few years back. I wish you the best in your endeavors and check periodically to see what you're up to.
